A client has Wolf RT486C Rangetop 20 years old unit. They experienced random clicking, bad ignition on the burners, uneven flame and clicking with flame ON the burner. We run diagnostics and offer to rebuild ignition system. We offered to replace all 6 spark electrodes, all ignition wiring, and 1 spark module. After permission, we came back with all necessary parts. First, we removed all burner racks, black panels, all 6 burners and all old wiring. We replaced old spark module with the new one. We run new wiring to each burner. We cleaned all 6 burners with the steel brush and installed new electrodes. We put all components back and test the Rangetop.
