All our technicians are EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) certified.

Education:

Our technicians undergo a three-month training program where they work side by side with an experienced technician. This take place both out on the road with customers as well as in a shop setting, work one on one with a supervisor.

      I was getting desperate sending messages in need of an air con repair person. Kit appliance was quick to respond and showed up the in the window of time appointed. I was at work and asked them to give me a 30 min call before they would be there to narrow down the time. Sam came in and fixed the immediate problem and suggested I get a new hvac since it's really old. We'll have to save some money before we change it but I'll definitely call Kit Appliance to do it!

  •   My 20 year old Dacor Oven went out....David the technician was prompt, professional, knowledgable and provided excellent service! Turned out to be a short behind the oven! David took care of the problem....in less than 2 hours my Dacor Oven's working again and he took care of the faulty wiring..safety issue! Thank you David! Highly recommend Kit Appliance Repair.

      My stove fan quit working. I called Kit Appliance Repair and explicitly requested the technician to only come out diagnose the problem, and not repair it. The technician proceeded to repair it, without my authorization.

    When booking a tech to come out, I was only informed about a $65 fee to come out. They neglected to inform me over the phone that their hourly rate is $185. It would have been nice to know this before hand, before I got a huge bill thrown on me at the end.

    The technician came out for exactly 2 hours and 24 minutes, but they decided to charge me for 3 hours. This is apparently their "policy." Basically, if they are at your home for 2 hours and 1 minute, they'll charge you for the additional hour.

    I will never be using this company ever again.

  •   The best service ever. I need my Viking oven looked at it stopped working. David was there right on time. Without wasting any time he noticed the setting for manual or auto was off.. rather than charging me arm and leg he showed me the problem and only charge me minimum.

    He was very knowledgeable about appliances and while he was there he changed all bad light bulbs. He was the most honest mechanic I ever met. He was respectful and very professional.

      I was skeptical when I called on a Friday afternoon to request service for my Sub Zero and they gave me a next day Saturday appointment, but these people are the real deal and amazing. Showed up on time, had all the right parts and fridge was working great after repair! The repair person, David, was careful and cleaned everything up when done. If I could give 6 stars I would!

  •   Came and AC was working. Gave me a discount on diagnostic fee because they didn't fix anything. Gave me some tips. Hopefully AC stays working next time.

      the lights in my Thermador hood were not working and I was having a hard time finding someone to repair them.. found them at thermadorbayarea.com searching Thermador repairs.

    Tech arrived on time, diagnosed and fixed the problem in one visit. Even had the needed parts on hand! (I had told them the problem and model number).

    Charged less for the parts than I could buy them online, and billed me for one hour labor, although I think he went a bit over, so pricing was fair.

    This review would be 5 stars, except the tech made the repairs without advising me of the cost beforehand. I would have authorized them, but should have the option of just paying the diagnosis and deciding to replace the hood with a new one.

    I would use them again.
